DOUBLES VOLLEYBALL OUTDOOR CLINICS AND TOURNAMENTS

 

 

Hosted by SHV with the Champaign Park District Junior High AND High School Players Welcome!

 

July 16th and 17th 9:00-11:00am
$50 per player
 

You do not need a partner, we will pair you up if you don’t have one

 

This SHV program is only offered for a limited time. Outdoor training for doubles is one of the best ways to get better quickly over the short summer months.

 

Grades 5-12 are welcome:

• Age groups will be divieded into two courts for grades 5-8 and two courts for grades 9-12. 

 

The dates for the Doubles Outdoor training sessions are below.

• All Sessions will be held at Seaman Field next to Centennial High School

 

 

WHY DOUBLES OUTDOORS?

• Reading the game and court awareness when there are only two players on a team

• Adjusting tempo and ball control for sun and wind elements

• Executing “shots”

• Conditioning in the grass

• Did you know that the NCAA has doubles volleyball as a DIvision 1 sport?

 

 

TO REGISTER FOR CLINICS AND TOURNAMENTS:

Plese fill out the form below, cash or check will be collected at the park the day of the tournament. Because we have to seed the tournament teams, for last minute registration please call Evan at 618-967-5969. Late entries we ask for $5 late fee because of changes made to seeding and brackets.
